Cappadocia is a hot dry desert area almost in the middle of Turkey and standouts out due to it’s strange looking rock formations known as the “fairy chimneys”.
Having ventured all around Central Europe and then having travelled much further afield The Balkans was not somewhere I had thought of visiting really.
At this point we came across the first warning sign for land mines in the area and decided as a group that we must not stray off the tarmac at all costs!
Even after packing my bike numerous times on the week leading up to our leaving day I never could quite get all the gear in without having to force the bags shut.
Staring at the map of the world we can clearly visualise our route as it travels east from the UK, through Europe and across the centre of the Asian land mass.
From what I had learnt from reading tons of travel blogs and watching youtube series such as races to places is that you need as much fuel as possible available.
